Royce Xander Obituary

Royce Ann Xander, 78, of Oil City, PA., passed away Saturday Feb. 21, 2026 at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca.

Born Dec. 2, 1947 in Oil City, PA., she was the oldest of 5 children born to  Roy E. Xander and Geraldine A. Rogers Xander.

Royce Ann was a 1966 graduate of Venango Christian High School.

She had worked at the Oil City Hospital, Franklin Hospital, the VNA, and had worked in the office for Dr. Femovich and her last employment was with Dr. Howard Kirtland.

Royce Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, enjoyed reading and was a NASCAR fan, a favorite memory of hers, was going to TriCity races with her father when she was younger.

She also enjoyed baseball and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She is survived by two children

Marci Dent of Oil City

Larry Dent and his wife Rachel of Valencia

Four grandchildren
Teernie Lawson and her husband Corey

Corbin, Hayden and Declan Dent

 three great grandchildren

Hunter, Ella and Braylynn

Royce Ann is also survived by one sister

Debi Miller of West Hickory

Two brothers

Kevin Xander of Oil City

Dennis Xander and his wife Diane of Oil City

And a sister-in-law Lisa Xander of Oil City

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Xander and a brother-in-law Dave Miller

Their will be no viewing or visitation.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date,

Memorials may be made to the Reinsel Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses, or to the Venango County Humane Society.
